Posted Yesterday on his youtube channel TZM Peter gives another excellent overview of possibilities and explanations for a sustainable world. Worth the time to listen if you really want to know what is going on with the OWS, our current global system, and the “split mind”. As always, your own higher discernment should always be present while listening and studying these (or any) new propositions, but be aware (please) without new ideas and fresh perspectives… we will do the “dissonance dance”… and simply turn around and continue to do\/be what has always been\/done, and get what we’ve always gotten…. no-where.
Occasionally I will use this blog to convey thoughts and ideas about our condition as a species. See [Contra-Violence Shamanism Post Sept.1,2011] excerpt from John Lamb Lash as a part of this on going study. I am not a scholar, nor am I an accomplished writer, but I am an acute observer of patterns and human nature…. And I care.
So lets start with a quote from Mr. Alan Watt on “Predictive Programming” and its effect on society.
“Predictive Programming is a subtle form of psychological conditioning provided by media and films to acquaint the public with planned societal changes so as to be implemented by our “leaders” unabated. If and when these changes are put to task, the public will already be familiarized with them and will accept them as “natural progressions” thus lessening any possible public resistance or objection.
Hollywood is the magician’s wand (Holy-Wood), which has been used to cast a spell on the unsuspecting public. Things or ideas that would otherwise be seen as bizarre, vulgar, undesirable or impossible are inserted into films in the realm of fantasy. When the viewer watches these films, his/her mind is left open to suggestion and the conditioning process begins. These same movies, which are designed to program the average person, can give the discerning viewer a better understanding of the workings and the plan of the world agenda.” — Alan Watt
So much for TV and movies.
Consider for a moment our free will. Do you feel free? “Do you think that’s air you’re breathing”? [Matrix] Did we identify with the underground fighters? – Their fight to be free from being used as batteries? And what about James Cameron’s movie – Avatar? Who did you identify with there?
Definition of Freedom – a state in which a person (or animal) is able to act and live as he or she chooses, without being subject to any undue restraints or restrictions.
Hhhmmm…. Something just sounds weird about that. Since we have never actually lived “without being subject to any undue restraints or restrictions”???
Now lets look at the definition of Slavery – the state or condition of being held in involuntary servitude as the property of somebody or something else – very hard work, especially for low pay and under bad conditions. (Taxes anyone?)
Yep, that’s more like it. You see – it’s only when people think they are not buying something can the real sales pitch begin.
This is why it is so utterly important to know who you are. YOU must know what you like, or what you don’t like, what you want to buy or own (such as debt – you do OWN that!). You must be willing to say no at the most uncomfortable of times. We must learn to decide for ourselves what we will or will not do, and be completely responsible for that decision.
Get to know exactly what you are afraid of, what scares you or what intimidates you and then face it. Talk about it openly with someone, hear what that “secret fear” sounds like out in the open.
This is the TRUE Spiritual work - the most important work of our time. Once and for all become aware of the tricks of the shadow, and step forward to risk being REAL.
We are always being manipulated, (as we have for hundreds of years since before the times of Plato) and coerced thru fear and social shaming; in fact, we ALL have Stockholm syndrome and just in case you don’t know whom your masters are?
Here’s the short list -
Media, government, movie stars, rock stars, TV heroes, TV villains, music, money, houses, cars, clothes, skin color, hair color, weight, knowledge, information, education, technology, landscape, locations, cell phones, social media, your mate, your emotions, your parents, your siblings, your friends, their friends, the “younger generation”, gurus, teachers, politics, any/all authority, food, sugar, coffee, misfortune, handicaps, literally EVERYTHING external in this world.
We have become compliant, and docile because we refuse to look and/or feel out of place, and this aversion to feeling different has been manipulated in us for thousands of years. Remember the Barnum and Bailey quote? “There is a sucker born every minute”
It’s also referred to as “the big con”. (sound familiar today?)
Without a moral and SOVERIGN compass, we are completely held hostage by the things we “believe” will bring us happiness, while at the same time, becoming obedient slaves willing to be spoon-fed and waiting for ANY savior to rescue us.
It is our time to awaken and the task can be quick and thorough. Take it on, it will be the greatest work you have ever done.
Step one however, is knowing what we bought into, and how unwilling we are to acknowledge it.
One more thing, here is the definition of Stockholm syndrome– a hostage’s sympathy for the captor: a condition experienced by some people who have been held as hostage for an extended length of time in which they begin to identify with and feel sympathetic toward their captors.
Just added: This video was just uploaded on youtube Oct.27 2011 – It gives a powerful and unique perspective on this issue, and mentions cognitive dissonance as a very real problem we are faced with. Around 54:30 or so, you will hear much of what we are studying here. Very well done documentary.
“Red and pink streaks filled the sky across parts of the country after Earth’s magnetic field was hit by a coronal mass ejection, enabling the Northern Lights to be seen across the southeastern part of the United States.
The ejection hit on Monday at approximately 2 p.m. ET and was seen across Arkansas, Tennessee, northern Alabama, northern Mississippi and North Carolina.
The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, occurs when energy particles from the sun interact with the earth’s magnetic field. Though the particles were emitted from the sun on Saturday, they only hit earth’s atmosphere Monday night.
The National Weather Service Space Weather Prediction Center said that coronal mass ejection arrived approximately eight hours earlier than model guidance suggested.
Geir Øye, a veteran observer of the Northern Lights from Norway told spaceweather.com that this particular aurora was very powerful.”
“These are the strongest and most beautiful auroras I’ve ever seen,” Øye said. “I can only imagine what the display must have been further north.”
This is the first 10 minutes of the documentary – “2012 Time for Change”. You can get full film at 2012timeforchange.com
“2012: Time for Change” presents an optimistic alternative to apocalyptic doom and gloom. Directed by Emmy Award nominee João Amorim, the film follows journalist Daniel Pinchbeck, author of the bestselling 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl, on a quest for a new paradigm that integrates the archaic wisdom of tribal cultures with the scientific method. As conscious agents of evolution, we can redesign post-industrial society on ecological principles to make a world that works for all. Rather than breakdown and barbarism, 2012 heralds the birth of a regenerative planetary culture where collaboration replaces competition, where exploration of psyche and spirit becomes the new cutting edge, replacing the sterile materialism that has pushed our world to the brink.”
We all know the Earth has now more and even stranger species than we’ve ever discovered, (or at least it will until we clear-cut and climate-bomb them right into extinction) but you usually figure these fragile exotic lifeforms are hanging out in caves under Madagascar, or somewhere else that’s tough to get to. Turns out, that at least some of them have been chiling near Melbourne, Australia, where researchers have discovered a new species of dolphin just basically right under their noses.
This is only the third new dolphin species recognized since the late 1800s, though maybe others are out there masquerading as standard-issue dolphins. Researchers had lumped the new species, called Tursiops australis,in with other local bottlenose dolphins until now. That’s a picture of T. australis above — how could anyone have thought it was a bottlenose? Please!
There are at least 150 of the new dolphins living in the Melbourne area. That’s a small enough population that T. australis may graduate from official nonexistence right onto the endangered species list. Now we know that they’re there, maybe we can protect them.
“The formal recognition of this new species is of great importance to correctly manage and protect this species, and has significant bearing on the prioritisation of conservation efforts,” the authors wrote.
“This is especially crucial given its endemism to a small region of the world, with only two small known resident populations.”
